Monaco

N&K’s European Adventure has been a success so far. Today we saw an entire country and walked most of it in an afternoon. Monaco borders France and the Mediterranean Sea and is nestled in [what I believe to be] the foothills of the Alps. It is the richest country per capita and if you are lucky you might just see 007 wandering the halls of the Monte Carlo Casino. We have now been to three countries on our adventure and head out to our forth tomorrow. If only they still stamped your passport in the EU.

The practice of buying a physical paper seems to be lost a bit. However, these stands still make their presence known around town.

Day 41: Cement

 

One day I went around town taking pictures of modern houses. This was almost a staple for any modern house.

Day 40: Farmer’s Markets

 

I love the sight of fresh vegetables at a farmer’s market. So tasty.

Day 39: Yellowstone

 

Yellowstone National Park really is a crazy place. Somehow life can still survive among the sulfuric rivers of death.

Day 38: Tulips

 

If you ever have an opportunity to visit the Tulip Festival outside of Seattle in April, do it. It is well worth your time.

Day 37: Ski Area

 

I experience so much joy at the sight of a sign to a ski area. Truly a Winter Wonderland.
